About the 2017 workshop

The Workshop on Chirality, Vorticity and Magnetic Field in Heavy Ion Collisions was held at UCLA from March 27 through March 30, 2017. The workshop covered recent theoretical developments and experimental measurements related to these topics.

The workshop was organized by Francesco Becattini (Florence and INFN), Huan Zhong Huang (UCLA and Fudan), Mei Huang (IHEP, Beijing), Zhongbo Kang (UCLA), Dmitri Kharzeev (Stony Brook U. and BNL), Jinfeng Liao (Indiana U.), Paul Sorenson (BNL), Sergei Voloshin (Wayne State) and Gang Wang (UCLA).

The workshop is hosted by the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of California, Los Angeles, CA 90095. We thank the UCLA Bhaumik Institute for Theoretical Physics and the BEST (Beam Energy Scan Theory) Collaboration for support of the workshop.
