Special tour April 10

On Wednesday afternoon, April 10, workshop participants and their companions will be invited to a tour of significant historic sites near the conference location – the palace at Knossos, and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. This tour will show off the richness of the cultural heritage found on Crete.

The cultural heritage visit planned for Wednesday afternoon, April 10, is open to all participants and accompanying persons without additional cost. This visit involves the exploring the Knossos Palace and the Heraklion Archeological museum.

We will also have a pre-dinner lecture at 5:30 PM by a noted archeologist, Don Evely, the previous curator of Knossos and head of the British School of Archeology for 12 years, who is still active in excavations in Crete.
