William ("Bill") Gelbart is Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was trained as a physical chemical theorist, obtaining his BS at Harvard University in 1967 and his PhD at the University of Chicago in 1970. Read more.
